Andrew Aitken,
Electrical Team Leader

We are pleased to welcome Andrew Aitken, a former associate, back to MM Brisbane as Electrical Team Leader.

During his 15 years away Andrew has become a respected industry leader in sustainable development. Andrew spent 5 years with the Green Building Council of Australia as the Executive Director of Green Star and has represented the industry on a wide range of committees tasked with advising governments on energy efficiency, carbon management and renewable energy policies and programs.

Andrew too, is excited to be back in the team. “At the Green Building Council I worked first hand with many project teams trying to design and build ground-breaking facilities. I was often asked to assist engineering teams explain the complexities of Green Star and its processes to their clients. I really enjoyed this experience and this led me to look for an opportunity to work with a team that values exceptional client service. I immediately thought of Medland Metropolis. I am delighted to be back working in the Medland team where we challenge each other to provide exceptional service to our clients every day whilst showing our passion for innovation and excellence in engineering design.”
