Located within a heritage building, this refurbishment over 2 levels of PC2 laboratories, resulted in state of the art wet laboratory facilities focussing on research in the three key areas of brain cancers and glial diseases; blood vessel diseases of the brain and chronic pain, migraine and other headache syndromes.

The laboratories, which are located on levels 6 and 7 in Building F of the existing BMRI Mallett Street Campus, bring the University into compliance with the current legislative and university standards while also reflecting the changing use of the building.
