The new office at 1 London Bridge brings together two London-based teams, providing greater opportunities to share ideas which will support the growth of their business.
The challenge for Medland Metropolis involved a very tight programme of six weeks for full services design, followed by a 10 week fit out programme. Client expectations on detailing, finish and staff comfort were high, which is understandable given Grainger’s extensive experience in the architectural industry. As the first tenant to move into the CAT A refurbished 1 London Bridge, there were also significant issues to overcome with regard to landlord systems.
Medland Metropolis’ response included ‘hands on’ workshops with the client and then with the MEP contracting team. This approach ensured a direct and quality communication throughout the life of the project. We were passionate about the details, both in design and construction.
The end result is a highly dignified professional office that reflects the ethos and priorities of Grainger.
