Medland Engineering were initially engaged to provide engineering advisory services to Gilbert + Tobin for their Sydney relocation, including Benchmark and future needs analysis, Building search, and Shortlisted building audits.
Off the back of this we undertook full design and documentation package for Electrical, Communications, Hydraulic, Specialist lighting.

Key outcomes:

• Integrated design solutions.
• Through 3D design integration we were able to customize the floors to suit the building structure and integration the building services, over coming challenges of specialist ceilings and lack of ceiling void space.
• Integrated design solutions built accurately when the building was being constructed, allowing for a cost effective fitout and very happy client.
• Innovations included: Intelligent integration of lighting controls with the G+T IT solutions and operational requirements; Streamlined resilience requirements for critical systems; Flexible cost effective communications and power solutions; Detailed coordination with joinery and commercial kitchen; Gas supply to a large commercial kitchen to help maintain base building.
• NABERS ratings & 5 Star office fitout design solutions.
