Medland Metropolis was engaged to provide Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and Hydraulic services for Host’s new office in Surry Hills.
Coordination of services and close collaboration with the architect was crucial to the success of this project.
Situated over three levels, the former warehouse facilitates approximately 130 workstations in an open plan area.
In order to ensure that the physical space remained unencumbered by exposed services, Medland Metropolis integrated the design into the architecture.
Through the provision of several lighting design options and close collaborated with the architect, the ultimate design was realised and implemented.
Furthermore, Medland Metropolis performed a full energy audit of the building using energy modeling software to ensure compliance with Section J.
